An Asymmetric Model Position Dependent Mass: Quantum Mechanical Study

چکیده
We propose an asymmetric model position dependent mass and study its quantum mechanical behaviour on different potentials such as harmonic oscillator potential, double well Gaussian single potential triangular potential. It is observed from our that the works for weak coupling preserving symmetric phase portrait. However, dominance of feature in system clearly visible higher values constant associated with mass. Though, both have significant role controlling spectral system, one may dominate over other certain cases.

Abrupt termination of a quantum channel and exactly solvable position-dependent mass models in three dimensions
We consider a particle with a position-dependent mass, moving in a threedimensional semi-infinite parallelepipedal or cylindrical channel under the influence of some hyperbolic potential. We show that the lack of uniformity in the environment generates an infinite number of bound states. PACS: 03.65.-w

We consider a free particle, V (r) = 0, with a position-dependent mass m(r) = 1/(1 + ςr) in the d-dimensional Schrödinger equation. The effective potential turns out to be a generalized Pöschl-Teller potential that admits exact solution. PACS numbers: 03.65.Ge, 03.65.Fd,03.65.Ca
متن کاملShape-invariant quantum Hamiltonian with position-dependent effective mass through second order supersymmetry
Second order supersymmetric approach is taken to the system describing motion of a quantum particle in a potential endowed with position-dependent effective mass. It is shown that the intertwining relations between second order partner Hamiltonians may be exploited to obtain a simple shape-invariant condition. Indeed a novel relation between potential and mass functions is derived, which leads ...
